Jen and her funny looking Sprite can

Trying to get to the dinner show via the train. (We had no idea what we were in for.)

No image available:
We had a run-in with some angry dogs in a dark alley off an unknown street.  The only escape was closed off by a chain link fence with barbed wire at the top.  We eventually found a gate.

This is the dinner show we were trying to get.  they had great authentic Thai food.

This is a "Tail-Boat".  The driver had to move this huge engine around manually

This shows him lifting the propeller out of the water to change directions.

Now he has to lean way to the side of the boat to steer.

Jen accepting the tour guide duties.

She needed help.

 Temple in Bangkok

The temple had a bunch of cats running around.  Most looked very, very hungry.

 New Years Eve

Partying on New Years on the boat.

Kevin O'Sullivan (when they gave back our immigration card, they weren't too worried about matching it up with the correct person).

The ferry going to the mainland.  It took an hour each way, but it was only about 1/2 a mile.

Looking out from the fish market.  (One thing is for sure, the fish at the market were fresh - most were still "breathing" while sitting in their bins).

Out in the bay on a bamboo canoe being rowed by a lady 1/3 Brant's size.

This guy let us come on his house (a boat) and showed us the fish he was raising.

The guy with his dog (who was not too excited to see us at first).

We ate at this floating restaurant.  We were the only ones on it.

 Here is our lunch.

The boat behind us took us around the bay. it had a crew of 3 and could fit 42 people (it costs $10/hour).

Jen and our tour guide - Cuc (very interesting lady)

The two rocks behind me are the most famous in the Bay "The kissing rocks"
